Are you really worth it?  Sometimes, those negative tapes say no.  You are not worthy!  I say prove it.  But, first-thank them for sharing…but you don’t have to believe it!  Look at instances in your life-you made a great dinner, got a degree, learned to type, remembered an appointment-WITHOUT looking at your calendar…and the list goes on…Anything you experience can be a win-a success. That makes that unworthy statement just not true!  Where is the evidence?  Even if you say you made mistakes-yeah?  So does everyone else.  Nobody’s perfect!

Believing you are worth can show in how you allocate your time and finances.  One of my coaching clients was a mom of 3-she was frazzled, stressed and needed a break, just a day to herself.  She refused to hire a Mother’s Helper or even a babysitter!  We brainstormed ways to do this.  She and another mom traded babysitting duties, my client watched all the kids on Tuesdays.  Thursdays, the other mom babysat all day with all the kids.  My client didn’t spend a dime.  Even with a tight budget, she showed the universe that she  was worth it!  Another client, a solo-entrepreneur like me, needed some administrative tasks done.  I modeled valuing myself and my time.  I have a Virtual Assistant ten hours each month.  It frees up my time so I can do more of what I love-writing a book, coaching my clients, creating a membership site(More shortly!) and working on other products that will enhance my business and grow my bottom line.  My client now pays for 5 hours administration  activities.  We’re both worth it!

Denying yourself all the time, can result in a huge splurge taking away all the money you’d saved sorta like when you crash diet, then one night, eat everything in sight!  Sometimes it’s ok and you’ll spend less giving yourself a small luxury.  That feeling of being worth it can go a long way.

Now, I’m not saying buy a car!  I have balance issues.  Taking a cab is a luxury.  I get a mani/pedi once/month.  It’s my way of pampering myself, telling me of my worth & celebrating a productive week.

So, make sure you celebrate each win…cause-you’re worth it!
